No luck finding my license.
This means it’s probably in a box of unidentified paperwork somewhere in this godforsaken house. Which my parents won’t be back to look through until after the deadline for rearranging my test date.
Add to that the fact that I’ve only just discovered that my theory test expires on 1st June, and I’m about one excuse short of a fit of throwing stuff at walls. Because that...

Adding to that list
the payment slip for the announcement of my birth in the Telegraph(!)
the scripts for every single play I teched at the Edinburgh Fringe
scan pictures of my younger sister (in my file, for some reason…)
school photos of my dad, with epic hipster glasses
a typewritten letter from my grandfather to a member of staff he was reprimanding for bad behaviour(!)
All fascinating,but still no...

Looking for my paper driving license
So far I have found:

my sixth form physics project on black holes

my gliding scholarship certificate
my...

If you mixed the blue and the grey I’m pretty sure you’d get the colour of Tumblr’s background XD
Except photos also lie - there’s no blue there, just a dark dusky purple and a light greyish lilac!
Also, now I have a head full of social-media themed room design D:

Two days in to my fortnight home alone
And I have learnt:
“Biatch” is an acceptable suffix to all positive statements.
“Crapsicles” is my new and most commonly used swearword.
Megalomania / power trips from the use of cleaning products are a thing.
So are stonking headaches from the same…

I'm not dead
However my laptop practically is, having come back from the menders with worse problems than it went away with. Seriously, the “full protection” or whatever its insurance is called isn’t worth the ink used to write on the paper it’s written on. Even if it was written in spit on toilet paper.
So yeah, will still be out of the loop for a few more weeks at this rate…

Technology which is blowing my mind: Google Glass →
Let me start by saying that using it is actually nearly identical to what the company showed off in its newest demo video. That’s not CGI — it’s what Glass is actually like to use. It’s clean, elegant, and makes relative sense. The screen is not disruptive, you do not feel burdened by it. It’s not shocking. It’s not jarring. It’s just this new thing in your field of vision. And it’s actually...

Graduation. Or "Why My Uni Sucks..."
People I want to take to my graduation = 3 People I should take to my graduation = 3
Problem: They are not the same 3.
Solution, you say? Take all of them, you say?
Number of guest tickets available per graduate = 3
Bugger.

– - George R.R. Martin
Went to see The Hobbit today, during which I discovered that it’s possible to miss somewhere you’ve never been, that doesn’t even exist. I cannot think of a more appropriate moment to put this quote on my blog.
