Started my latest craft project - Lego F1 helmets! This is the first one I’ve tried, because it’s the easiest design of the people I care about, and I’m actually quite happy with how it’s turned out :)

First attempt at Viennese Whirls. Pretty sure they’re not meant to taste quite so much like shortbread, and I think I overcooked them, but as first attempts go, I’m mostly happy! Also I ran out of chocolate for dipping, so hence the messiness there…
Success level: 3*
ETA: having tried them with the chocolate and with a dusting of icing sugar, I’m upping the success level to 4*. Because NOM XD
Made this this afternoon from a piece of shell that I picked up in Brighton.
I always wanted one of those necklaces that looked a little like a shark’s tooth when I was younger. Now I have one!
Sadly the picture doesn’t do the colours in the shell justice - it has patches of brown and creamy colours as well as just white. If I get around to taking a better picture I’ll reupload, but this is me, so don’t expect miracles!
Granted, the point of me messing around with pastels and charcoal isn’t (and never had been) the end result, but either way, I’m actually vaguely happy with this one.
I managed to keep it off the carpet this time too…
So it appears that the the only things I can draw are F1 cars… (and even then, with some serious artistic license!)
Basically, Felipe’s car is clearly rubbish, so I drew him a better one. Look, it even has a prettier nose!
In other news, this little sleep has clearly sent me bonkers… XD

Not the best photo ever, but here’s the Union Jack button bracelet I made last night. I’m not selling this one - it’s mine muahaha. *Ahem.* Anyway, it’s the first piece I’ve made in a long time that I’m pretty much completely and genuinely happy with.
And it *so* has nothing to do with this. Nothing at all. No inspiration gained whatsoever…
Ordered these a couple of days ago - going to make myself a button bracelet with them, but I’ve not decided on the style yet. Either way, they were just too awesome to resist!
